The Kerala State Council for Science. Technology and Environment (KSCSTL). invites applications/nominations for Science Literature Awards for recognizing the contributions of writers in the area of Science Literature in Malavalam. The Science Literature Awards 2014 are entitled for the work published during the calendar year 2014. under the following five categories:

i. Science Literature Award for Science Book (Children Literature)

ii. Science literature Award for Science Book (Popular Science)

iii. Science literature Award for Science Book (In-depth Science)

iv. Science Journalism Award

v. Science Literature Award for Science Book (Malavalam translation)

Each Award carries a cash prize of Rupees Fifty Thousand (Rs. 50,000/-). a plaque and Certificate. Eligible authors may be nominated by Head of any organization/ Institutions and also by eminent science writers, professionals and publishers*. Institutions can nominate the candidates for the Award. Applications directly submitted by the candidates are also accepted. The Applicant should clearly specify the category of the Award for which he/she wishes to apply.   The Application format, Guidelines and Terms & Conditions can he downloaded from the website www.kscste.kerala.gov.in or can be obtained free of cost from KSCSTEs office at Pattom. Thiruvananthapuram.

The duly filled up application in the prescribed format, along with 3 copies of Publication, detailed bio-data and copies of testimonials supporting their literary contributions should reach the Office of the Member Secretary. Kerala Slate Council for Science. Technology and Environment, Sasthra Bhavan. Pattom. Thiruvananthapuram   695 004 on or before 5.00 pm on 30^th April 2015.
