Visiting
Assistant Professor
The Early Childhood and Special
Needs Education Academic Group (ECSE) at the National Institute of Education,
Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, invites applicants who possess a
PhD or EdD in Special Education to apply for a visiting assistant professor
position within the Academic Group for a period of 6 months commencing in
January 2016.
We are looking for candidates with a
proven track record in research and teaching at the university, and a minimum
of 5 years of working with individuals with special needs.

Responsibilities
The successful applicant is expected
to teach 3 courses in special needs education. The candidate is also expected
to review the Academic Group’s programme on special needs. The candidate
will visit special and mainstream schools to understand current ways and
arrangements to support the teaching of students with disabilities.
